GETTING STARTED
Thanks to the seamless Shopify API integration, you can now sell your images directly through your own Shopify webshop. It allows you to determine the presentation, product selection, and pricing of your pictures.
With a so-called "token," your WhiteWall account can be linked to your Shopify account. The following prerequisites must be met for a successful connection:
CREATE A WHITEWALL ACCOUNT
Go to the "MY PARTNER TOKENS" section in your WhiteWall customer account and click "CREATE A NEW TOKEN":

Create a new token: Give your token a name to easily identify it. This token will later be copied and pasted into your Shopify store to link it to your WhiteWall account:
After clicking "CREATE," a message will confirm that the token has been successfully created. You can now copy the token from the corresponding field:
LINK THE TOKEN
If you don’t have a Shopify store yet, you need to create one at www.shopify.com. Instructions for the registration process can be found on the Shopify website. After successful registration, you can download the WhiteWall app in Shopify and enter the token under "Preferences."
If everything has worked and the token is activated, you will see this green confirmation message:
You will then need to enter your billing address on the Shopify website so that WhiteWall can send you invoices.
SELL YOUR IMAGES
The images you select for sale will be uploaded directly to your Shopify webshop. Important: There is no link between the images in your WhiteWall customer account and those in your Shopify store.
Make sure to upload your images in the highest possible quality and resolution, as each image should ideally be available in all sizes you offer. To create your first configuration, start here:

Once your product is ready, click on “Create Product.”:

To display the material selection with the desired configuration in Shopify, you must first create and save this configuration in your WhiteWall account. Currently, there is no editor available within Shopify, meaning all products you offer for sale must be preconfigured in your WhiteWall customer account regarding material selection.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WhiteWall / Shopify CONFIGURATION
Important: When creating a configuration on the WhiteWall website, the image and size are not relevant! You always upload the image through your Shopify account, and the size, including the price, is selected in Shopify. All saved configurations will automatically appear in your Shopify webshop as options for your product range:
FORMATS & PRICES
You can also select the sizes you want to offer to your customers. To avoid cropping your images, we only offer "Perfect Fit" sizes. This means that only formats matching the original aspect ratio of your image file are available.
Here, you can also set your sales prices with a freely selectable margin. The “psychological pricing” function can be useful to automatically generate visually appealing price values.
PAYMENT
The payment process is automated via Shopify. As soon as a customer buys an image, the payment is processed directly through you. You approve the order in Shopify.
For the first order, you will receive an email with a Pay-By-Link for payment. All subsequent orders will be automatically processed through your saved payment details.
Please note that WhiteWall has no direct contact with your end customers. Once your end customer has paid you, you can submit a request for order processing. Production begins as soon as we receive your payment.
The production of the order will start once the payment has been made. WhiteWall will send you a confirmation e-mail once the order has been sent.
OUR B2B CUSTOMERS
BILLING ADDRESS
As a B2B customer, you can only save one billing address. B2B customers with multiple partners must select a single address.
NEUTRAL SHIPPING
Important: Please note that prints ordered via Shopify cannot currently be shipped as white-label products. However, this option will be available in the future.
BUSINESS CUSTOMER DISCOUNTS
If you already have an existing business customer discount with us, don’t worry—you can also apply it in your Shopify webshop. Please note that orders with an invalid discount code will be automatically rejected.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF A COMPLAINT?
Complaints are handled as usual through our customer service. As with our B2B customers, we communicate exclusively with you as the reseller, not with your end customers.
CANCELING AN ORDER
Shopify orders can be cancelled within a two-hour window through your customer account.
